Alba Berlin muss sich dagegen mit der Teilnahme am Eurocup begnügen. Und das, obwohl das Final Four 2016 in der deutschen Hauptstadt ausgetragen wird. Mit Ratiopharm Ulm und den Telekom Baskets Bonn ist die BBL mit zwei weiteren Teams im Wettbewerb vertreten.
